The Outer Worlds Switch Port Delayed Due To Coronavirus

Switch owners will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on The Outer Worlds, as Private Division has announced the unfortunate news of the game being delayed due to the Coronavirus. Virtuos, the team handling the porting duties for The Outer Worlds, are all ok, but their office has been closed for precautionary reasons to keep everyone healthy. The announcement of the game’s delay was posted on Twitter earlier today, which you can see below:

The tweets include some more uplifting news however, as Private Division revealed that the physical Switch version of The Outer Worlds which was previously downloadable with no cartridge will now be a cartridge release.

No new launch date for the Switch port of The Outer Worlds has been given, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted when that information becomes available. For now, we at Controller Crusade hope that the Virtuos team stay safe and healthy during this unfortunate situation.
