Agony Successfully Funded On Kickstarter With Multiple Stretch Goals

Agony has been officially greenlit, as PlayWay’s Kickstarter campaign reached the finish line yesterday with 3,926 backers, and almost tripling its funding goal with $182,642 raised. Agony received high praise from several media outlets throughout the Kickstarter campaign for its creepy atmosphere and gruesome visuals. If you have yet to see any gameplay footage of the game, which you journey through the depths of Hell as a tormented soul, check out the Agony official gameplay trailer here:

Backers of the project also managed to help Agony surpass 5 of its stretch goals. Agony will now include an Agony mode, where players will try and survive endless procedurally generated levels and complete as many quests as possible before dying at the hands of demons. Agony will now also include a 3D character viewer, so you can see all the gory and grotesque details. Kickstarter backers have also unlocked multiple endings and Agony VR Edition.
