Super Smash Bros. Clone Brawlout Set to Launch in Early 2017

If there’s one video game genre in which Nintendo beats the rest of the pack, it’s that of platform fighters. With Super Smash Bros. being arguably the most popular series on recent Nintendo consoles, nothing that’s been released on the Xbox One or PS4 has come close. Angry Mob Games is looking to change that with the release of their latest game, Brawlout, which is coming Q1 2017. Brawlout features bright, vibrant animal fighters, all with their own unique fighting styles. The game is playable with up to eight players, and will feature online ranked tournaments.

“We’re all fighting game fans, so we’ve built our dream platform fighter,” says Bogdan Iliesiu, CEO at Angry Mob Games. “We’ve heard what players miss from classic fighters and what they love about new ones, and Brawlout is designed to give people the best of both worlds—whether that’s ruining friendships around the TV or going online to anger strangers in tournaments.”

Brawlout is scheduled to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out the Brawlout reveal trailer below:
