Microsoft Unveils Accessible Packaging For Xbox Adaptive Controller

Back in May Microsoft revealed the Xbox Adaptive Controller, a configurable controller specialized for gamers with limited mobility. The controller was designed with feedback from the accessibility community, and can be adapted using various devices that allow the controller to be used with hands, feet, shoulders, and other body parts. Microsoft has carried over the accessible design to the controller’s packaging, unveiling a box that can be completely disassembled without the worry of wrestling with tape, twist ties, or any of the other packaging annoyances you’d see in a traditional controller box. Check out the unboxing of the Xbox Adaptive Controller below:

The Xbox Adaptive Controller is available for pre-order, and hits shelves in September with an MSRP of $129.99 CAD.
