How to Win

It’s easy!  Just head to our Facebook page, click Like, and Share this post.  That’s it!  Once you’ve liked our page and shared the post you’ll be entered into a  random drawing to win the Shulk amiibo.  The contest runs for one week and the winner will be notified on Thursday, March 12.

Why Are We Doing This?

We believe in transparency, so that’s why we want to tell you why we’re doing this.  After all, nobody gives anything away for free, right?

The short answer is that this is for marketing.  The longer is that we want you to visit our website and read our content.  You see, running Controller Crusade isn’t a money making venture.  Even though we do run an advertisement on the page, it doesn’t even generate enough money to cover our (quite small) hosting costs.  But that’s okay – we’re not in this to make money.  We run this site because we love videogames and we love writing about them, and what keeps us going is knowing that people read what we write.  So this, really, is just a way to help get our name out there and have more people read our material.  We believe we do good work on Controller Crusade, and it’s way more fulfilling when we know that someone is reading.

The Boring Stuff (Rules)

Contest entrants must like the Controller Crusade Facebook page and share the contest post on their Facebook wall.    All entrants as of March 12, 2015 will be entered into a drawing and a winner will be picked using random.org.  The winner will be notified on the date of drawing via Facebook and will have 24 hours to respond.  If no response is received within 24 hours the winner will forfeit their prize and a new drawing will be held and a new winner notified.

Contest is open worldwide to entrants from any country.  Winner will have to provide their shipping address.  Prize will be shipped the day following response from the winner, or on the next available day with postal service.  Please allow time for shipping.
