Get Ready for Pictooi

Is there any better way to relax than with a game of Picross? Apparently not – at least according to the developers of Mutant Mudds and Xeodrifter.

Pictooi is the latest game from Atooi, and it’s their spin on the classic Picross formula. In Picross, you’re tasked with recreating pictures by filling in individual pixels on a grid, with hints appearing along the outside of the grid showing how many boxes need to be filled in for each row and column. Certainly, Nintendo fans are no strangers to the classic game, with the Switch being host to several versions of the game.

Pictooi looks like a fun take on the genre, featuring 300 puzzles across boards of various sizes, from beginner friendly boards to teach you the basics all the way up to devilishly hard boards that will have you wracking your brain.

You can try out Pictooi when it releases tomorrow in North America. In Europe, you’ll have to wait until July 7th to get your hands on it.
