Daisy Ridley Reportedly On Shortlist for Lara Croft Role

After bursting onto the scene in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, it seems Daisy Ridley has a chance to step into another iconic role. The twenty-three year old actress is the latest actress being linked to the role of Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot.

The recent installments of the Tomb Raider franchise have strayed away from Croft’s portrayal as a sex symbol, and instead have gone for a much grittier and darker product. Daisy is an ideal candidate for the role of Lara Croft, as her young age would allow her to easily continue the role for multiple films if the first film is a success.
