Capcom Officially Reveals The Resident Evil 3 Remake

Prior to the launch of the highly-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 2 Capcom stated that they would be open to remaking Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, as long as the demand was there. The demand for modernized versions of the beloved survival horror series was clearly at an all-time high, and Capcom stayed true to their promise by officially revealing the remake of Resident Evil 3 during Playstation’s State of Play presentation earlier today. Check out the official reveal trailer for Resident Evil 3 below:

The release date may come as quite a surprise to many, as April 3rd, 2020 is not that far away. The quick turnaround does make some sense though, since Resident Evil 3 takes place just hours before the events of Resident Evil 2, sharing many locations throughout Raccoon City.

Resident Evil 3 will also include the previously revealed asymmetrical online multiplayer game mode Resident Evil Resistance.
