Blue Jays’ Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Announced As RBI Baseball 19 Canadian Cover Athlete

As the Toronto Blue Jays’ annual fan appreciation event, Blue Jays Winter Fest, came to a close today, it was revealed that Lourdes Gurriel Jr. will be gracing the cover for the Canadian version of RBI Baseball 19. Gurriel Jr. found himself in a regular role last season with the Blue Jays as an infielder, and now joins teammates Justin Smoak, Kevin Pillar, and Marcus Stroman as players who have landed the cover for the series.

RBI Baseball 19 is set to release in March on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android. The game is yet to reveal a cover athlete for the US version, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated once the player is announced.
