Twitch Takes On Chess Grandmaster Simon Williams In Pure Chess This Friday

To celebrate the launch of Pure Chess Grandmaster Edition this Friday, Ripstone Games is giving Twitch users a chance to take on an actual chess grandmaster. Starting at 8am PST this Friday, Septembr 9th, Simon Williams will be playing a chess match versus the entire Twitch community on Ripstone’s official Twitch channel. Twitch users will vote on which moves are played against Williams by typing chess moves into the Twitch chat. If the Twitch community manages to become victorious over Simon Williams, then every Twitch user who participated will receive a free random Steam game from the Ripstone catalogue.

Pure Chess Grandmaster Edition is set to launch on Steam and Xbox One on September 9, with exclusive chess sets, comprehensive tutorials and an in-depth ELO ranking system. Pure Chess Grandmaster Edition will be priced at $12.99.
