Final Fantasy XII HD Special Edition Spotted on Amazon

Looks like the upcoming Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is getting a special edition release.  A listing for the special edition was spotted on Amazon this morning, and includes the following:

Includes the game, an exclusive steel book featuring artwork by renowned illustrator Akihiko Yoshida, and a digital code to unlock the original soundtrack background music option in-game.

This item is currently unavailable, but this listing at least proves that there is an entry, and description, for the game in Amazon’s system – meaning there’s a very high possibility that a Special Edition is coming.

Update: Since publishing this story, the game has gone from “Not available” to “Pre-order now” with a price of $49.99 and a release date on July 11, 2017.
