Capcom Reveals Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite Release Date, New Characters, And More

Two worlds collide once again, as the latest battle between Marvel and Capcom will be available September 19th. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will feature an immersive story mode, as heroes from the two franchises will battle a new villain: Ultron Sigma. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will have a simultaneous release on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.

Also announced were 8 new playable characters: Ultron, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Racoon, Chun-li, Strider Hiryu, and Chris Redfield. These fighters will join a jam-packed roster that already includes the previously announced Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Captain America, Ryu, You can see these fighters, along with the game’s main villain, in the Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite story trailer below:

There will be three different tiers of edition available for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s. For those who pre-order the Standard edition, they will receive Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu costumes. The Deluxe edition contains a 2017 character pass, as well as two more additional costumes: Gladiator Hulk and Mega Man Command Mission X. The Collector’s edition includes four character dioramas of Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Mega Man X and Chun-Li. It will also include a case filled with six Infinity Stone replicas, as well as SteelBook packaging that contains the Deluxe Edition of the game.
