Vampyr Story Trailer Released

With its release date just two short months on the horizon, DONTNOD Entertainment’s upcoming action RPG Vampyr has been given a brand new story trailer. The trailer, which is set to a spine-tingling rendition of Blue Oyster Cult’s Don’t Fear The Reaper, gives a more in depth look at the moral quandary surrounding the game’s protagonist, Dr. Johnathan Reid. Vampyr‘s main premise is summarized perfectly in the closing narration of the trailer, with the quote “What prevails in the end, I wonder? The desire for blood? Or to be of service to man?”. In Vampyr you take on the role of Dr. Johnathan Reid in 1918 London. Dr. Reid is a newly-turned vampire, who must confront his nature as a blood-drinker and his temptation to feed on the citizens he swore to protect.

Vampyr is set to release on June 5th, 2018 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
