Skul Adds Dead Cells Crossover Content And More In Latest Update
Skul: The Hero Slayer is getting some additional content today, as well as a crossover with fellow pixel-art platformer Dead Cells. Dead Cells‘ main character, “The Prisoner” will be added to the game, as well as several new features and changes. The crossover between the two titles is a perfect marriage, as they are both fast-paced platforming roguelikes with 2D pixel art visuals. Sang Woo Park, the CEO of SouthPAW Games had this to say about the crossover announcement:
We’ve been working behind the scenes on this for the last couple of months and are thrilled to finally share it with the world. We’re also grateful for the support we’ve received from Motion Twin and are honored to have worked with them on this.
Skul was released on Steam in Early Access back in February of this year and is now available for $17.99 USD, and will be available at a 30% discount from June 23rd to July 9th. SouthPAW games plans to have Skul: The Hero Slayer launch its full version on PC this October, with console versions on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch to follow.
