Shovel Knight Headed to Retail

Shovel Knight Headed to Retail

Digital-only indie games are being released in physical form in greater amounts every month, and now it’s time for Shovel Knight to join in.  The indie hit was originally released in June of 2014 and will be hitting retail in October of this year.  4 versions will be released: Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation 4, and Xbox One (and Europe will receive a physical PC version).

Shovel Knight will be available at most major retailers (Wal-Mart, Target, Amaon, Gamestop, and more were named) and will retail for $19.99.  Even better, each disc will included Plague of Shadows, the first full content update for Shovel Knight and will have access to all future content updates for free.  It will be just like the digital version, only physical, for all of you who prefer to hold a copy of the game in your hands.
