Shakedown: Hawaii Getting Physical Release On Wii & Wii U This Summer

The Nintendo Wii and Wii U are getting physical releases in 2020… man, that feels weird to write. Vblank Entertainment will be bringing the retro-fueled Shakedown: Hawaii to the Nintendo Wii next month, and the release will be limited to 3,000 physical copies. The Wii U version, accompanied by a Steam release, will follow in August with more details coming soon.

The Nintendo Wii version will support use of the Wii Remote, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro, and even the Gamecube controller. The Wii U version will support both Standard and High Definition, as well as 4:3 and 16:9 output ratios. The Wii U version can even be played entirely on the GamePad and will have touch screen capabilities.

Shakedown: Hawaii was originally released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita back in May of last year. The Nintendo 3DS version of the game followed in September 2019. To learn more of how this crazy release came together, you can read more details on the Vblank website here.
