Rocket League Headed to Retail

Rocket League, the smash-hit driving/soccer game by Psyonix, is getting a retail release.  Just announced on the Kinda Funny Twitch Stream, Psyonix’s Jeremy Dunham announced that Rocket League will be getting a physical release later this year. Regions the game will be released in, price, and final release date are currently unknown, but are likely to be announced within the week.  Platforms that will be receive a physical release weren’t mentioned, but it’s safe to assume that both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One will receive a release.

On the stream, Jeremy Dunham also mentioned how much of a success Rocket League has been.  He stated that the game has been purchased nearly 4 million times  and has been the most downloaded Playstation Plus game since the service began (the 4 million figure sales figure does not include Playstation Plus downloads).
