New Teaser Trailer For The Messenger Released During Nindies Showcase

Earlier today during the Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase a new teaser trailer dropped for Sabotage’s retro ninja platformer, The Messenger. This new trailer proved The Messenger is much more than a Ninja Gaiden knockoff, teasing innovative features and player progression. Check out the teaser trailer for The Messenger below:

The Messenger will feature unlockable gear, character progression via a skill tree, and silly boss battles. Perhaps the most unique feature shown during the trailer was the player seamlessly switching from 8-bit graphics to 16-bit using a time-traveling portal.

The Messenger is set to launch on Nintendo Switch this summer.
