Michael B Jordan To Appear In NBA 2K17’s MyCAREER Mode

NBA 2K17 looks to expand on their story-driven MyCAREER mode by adding more star power into the mix, this time with the acting of Michael B Jordan. Jordan will portray Justice Young, a budding NBA star who befriends the user’s player. Michael B Jordan confirmed his involvement with NBA 2K17 on Twitter earlier today.

The NBA 2K franchise took a different approach last year by creating an in-depth backstory and turning the MyCAREER mode into a more cinematic experience with the help of Spike Lee. Unfortunately the new approach was poorly received, due to it’s cliche storyline and annoying characters.

Michael B Jordan has made a name for himself in Hollywood recently, starring as The Human Torch in last year’s reboot of the poorly-received Fantastic 4, only to rebound in an iconic role as Adonis Creed in Creed.
