Fan Recreates Yooka-Laylee On The SNES

With just over two weeks until its release, the wait is almost over for the highly anticipated 3D platformer Yooka-Laylee. The game looks to deliver that same retro nostalgia as the Rare games of the 90’s, but one fan has taken that nostalgia to the next level.

Dieter Von Laser has recreated a small portion of Yooka-Laylee on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and Playtonic Games have taken notice of their hard work by sharing it on their social media pages. See the footage of Yooka-Laylee on the SNES below:

Yooka-Laylee will be releasing on April 11th on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam, with the Nintendo Switch version coming some time in the near future.
