Elden Ring Reveals Gameplay and Release Date In New Trailer

Geoff Keighley capped of his Summer Game Fest showcase today in probably the biggest way possible, as the show concluded with a jam-packed trailer of the highly-anticipated From Software game, Elden Ring. One of the most hyped up titles of this generation, the brainchild of Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin has seen massive amounts of speculation and leaks since it’s initial reveal, but Today we finally got to see the game in action. Check out the new trailer for Elden Ring below:

Elden Ring looks to be From Software’s biggest undertaking by far, with the player able to traverse a massive open world by horseback. The trailer gave a glimpse of several larger than life bosses, as well as plenty of that signature Soulsborne combat. The most surprising reveal during the entire trailer was the release date, slated for January 21st, 2022. Elden Ring will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
